Emerging Clean Agent Technology
CAPS Fire Inc. announces a new patent pending technology that will change the clean agent fire protection market. CAPS Fire Inc. has successfully demonstrated that pumps can be used as a delivery mechanism instead of high pressure cylinders. The pumps are designed for use with 3M Novec 1230 Fire Protection Fluid although other clean agents can be pumped. Pumps are available as components through any clean agent OEM for integration into a complete fire protection system.

The ability to use a pump provides system designers with many more options with regards to storage containers, discharge timing and interconnection with other fire safety and building systems. Agent delivery can be accomplished via the industry standard 10 second discharge, modified for a longer extended discharge when required or controlled with a gas detection system and cycled to maintain inertion of ignitable vapors. Combining the discharge flexibility with the option of custom molded atmospheric storage tanks for OEM applications, CAPS Fire Inc. is poised to become the industry leader in clean agent fire pumps.
